Interview with company owner

RAMA-GLAS is a company that invests a lot in its in development. As a result, we have three new production lines at the moment that are in testing phase after they are installed on our new location. These are tempering plant, automated glass storage and new insulated glass production line, all for jumbo size glass, all bought from European producers with minimum participation of foreign funds. - said owner of company Mr. Nahid Hasanbegović.

He continues: This summer we are moving to a new location, where we have enough space and better conditions for business compared to the old one which has become too crowded and too small for us. We are now out of town, near the highway 5C, on area of 10.000 m2, but we will keep our showroom in downtown as well. We invested in software too, so we will be connected and updated with all production processes and phases.

RAMA-GLAS was established in 1996, while HANO, our sister company, was established 2 years later. It started with 5 employees. First tempering plant was bought in 2003 and it was the first one in our region for tempering coated glass.

Today we export to many countries worldwide. You can see our glass in Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Croatia, Germany, Norway, USA, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, etc. For that purpose we formed a new company HANO-TRANS to have a full service for international transport too.

Each year we employ around 10 new interns, we invest in education and training of our employees, we improve processes, update all certificates and standards required for business, which results in continuous growth and approaching to the company's long term goal. - said Mr. Hasanbegovic.
