Representatives of the EBRD and donor countries visited RAMA-GLAS on Tuesday 7 May. The visit was conducted as a part of the EBRD Annual Meeting and Business Forum that is taking place in Sarajevo from 8 to 9 May, gathering over 2,000 business representatives, investors and key policy-makers.
RAMA-GLAS participated in an EBRD programme for SMEs supported by the European Union which provided the project with more favorable investment funds.
As Project Site Visits, donors were introduced to RAMA-GLAS and its development plans. For the past two years, moving to a new location, RAMA-GLAS is the proud owner of the largest tempering plant and largest insulated glass production line in the region thanks to, among other things, support of the EBRD. By applying Super Spacer Technology, our IG production line makes RAMA-GLAS stand out among the competitors.
Since the foundation in 1996 to date, RAMA-GLAS has developed into a leading company in the field of architectural glass. We have started with only a few employees. After 23 years, our capacity is ten tons of processed glass per day. The road to this success was challenging, but thanks to continuous investments, great quality, extremely good organization and management and hardworking employees, we succeeded.
Besides RAMA-GLAS, today there are two sister companies HANO and HANO-TRANS which together provide synergy and complete the whole circle of service to the final customer.
We are located on the area of 20.000 m2 and doing business according to the latest standards and procedures, with products certified in European institutes such as IFT Rosenheim. The company has completed the recertification in accordance with the latest ISO 9001: 2015 standard, ie the acquisition of the CE marking requirement, thus gaining conditions for export to European Union countries. Nowadays, we export over 50% of our products worldwide.
